Mission 17 : Traveling without getting lost ? Get a location system.

Blackvoxel have an huge universe. As long as you stay around your crash point and don't loose visual contact with your facilities, you won't get lost.
One advantage of building your base around of the crash point is that if you dies, you'll respawn there. So, there is at least one way to find your way back home.

But when you'll travel through the universe, finding your way to particular points is essential. So, there is a location system you can build in order to locate in the universe.

Fortunately, this system is very affordable to make. Follow the manufacturing instructions in the documentation of the location system in the manual.

Unlike the tools you used before, the location system is a "power". Unlike tools, you can use several of them simultaneously.

To use it, collect the location system in your inventory, open your inventory and put it in the "powers" zone that is the lower part of your inventory. Immediatly, you'll see appearing a line at the bottom left of the screen displaying some numbers. These numbers are location informations. Now close your inventory, you'll see that the line remaine displayed and numbers are changing when you move.

As you see, numbers are displayed by group with brackets around.

• The first group count 3 numbers. These are the X,Y and Z coordinates of the player location in voxel units. The starting point is 0,0,0. The Y coordinate is the altitude. In the flat blue area, negative Y coordinates are underground.
  
• The second group have 2 numbers, it's the zone coordinates in zone unit. Each zone is a square of 256 voxels in lenght. You can use these coordinates to spot your position on the universe map.
• The third group is the heading in degree like in any magnetic compass.
  

The easiest way to remember a coordinate in order to get back to it further is to take note of it's coordinates (the first 3 numbers). To find back this location further, simply go in the direction that will get the number to increase or decrease in the the direction to get closer to your goal.

The location system work also with vehicles.
